This sub-register of the Act on Financial Supervision (Wet op het financieel toezicht, Wft) enables you to search for banks and E-money institutions, amongst other things.
Search By using the search engine, you can search by (a part of) the name of the financial enterprise. If you then click on the name of the enterprise found, you will be shown all available information on that enterprise.
It is possible for a financial enterprise to possess several licences. The register indicates what activities an enterprise is permitted to perform. For example, a bank may have a licence for providing banking products and a licence for providing insurance products.
All Dutch banks that operate under a licence from DNB are covered by the Dutch deposit guarantee scheme (see 2:12 (1), 2:13 (1) or 3:111 in this register).
